Label Me Lindsay's New Location!!!

I have moved on from painting faces in my kitchen and airbrush tanning in my bedroom!!! It is time Label Me Lindsay grew up... After much thought and debate I have moved out and have a permanent studio for all my creative processes. 11140 Los Alamitos Blvd #203, Los Alamitos CA, 90720. I didn't move far, just 1/2 mile from my home. I have it all ready for all my clients and am sooooo excited for everyone to see it. Most of my friends and clients stopped by on Sept 1st to check out my new creative quarters during my open house. Here are a few pictures for the Label Me Lindsay Open House.

Airbrush Tanning

Hello Blogger's and blog readers... It has been a while since I last posted. Lots of changes have been happening for Label Me Lindsay over the past months. I have really enjoyed the journey. For starters I have created my business from the ground up. It all started with doing makeup for my friends for prom @ Millikan High in 2000 and I have added things along the way: Hair styling, Hair extensions, Costume design & esthetician services (if you are out of the loop on that one it means: Skin Care Specialist: waxing, facials etc). With more than 70 weddings under my belt and over 200 costumes sold I continue to add to my repertoire.

Years ago while doing makeup at a local tanning salon I was introduced to Airbrush Tanning..... My friend Lisa was amazing at it! When she was away or could not do Airbrush Tan there was no one to fill in...what was she to do... Label Me Lindsay to the rescue! She taught me everything I needed to know about how to create a flawless Airbrush Tan. I did this for her for a couple of years and loved every min of it! Long story short she sold the salon and I went on to do my own thing (remaining close friends of course:)... It is funny how you circle right back to your past....another way of history repeating its self. After dealing with so many brides and girls purchasing my costumes asking me where they could get a great Airbrush tan.. I was perplexed... I don't know anyone who spray tan's as well as Lisa and I! Oh wait... if I only had my own machine! I went around and around about possible ways to airbrush tan my brides... I have a compressor for my makeup airbrush... would that work? could I find a good solution that wont turn my clients orange? How much is this all going to cost me? I did this for 2 years!!!

Fantasy tan was the machine and solution that we used at Lisa's tanning salon. I NEEDED FANTASY TAN!!!!! I called them a few times over the 2 years and finally mustard up the courage to put down the cash to buy the machine!!! And oh boy was it worth it!!!!! There is a reason why people pay 4-6 times more for Fantasy Tan. Their product is amazing. No streaks, no orange, not too tan (is there such a thing as too tan? not to me hahhahaha)

So to keep this short story short I am no offering airbrush tanning and am so excited about it. Not only is it Fantasy Tan, it is Label Me Lindsay doing Fantasy Tan!!!

So for all the brides and tan seekers out there... don't burn in the sun and look like a handbag by age 45 get Bronzed by a professional with out the harmful effects of UVA and UVB...cuz UB.bronzed instead!

I met so many great people as well as reconnecting with old friends who got married in the year 2009.
