5 Week Summer Slim-down

Melina Fitness is motivating you this Spring/Summer with a fat burning, high cardio & strenth building 5 session boot camp training. The Package will have 5 - 1 1/2 hour workouts along with a 30 min. Q&A session following the first scheduled class. The session package must be prepaid by going to www.melinafitness.com . Label Me Lindsay is making her stamp on this boot camp package buy adding $15 gift card good towards a flawless LML Airbrush Tan. Melina also will be sending out homework & eating tips each week. You set your goals and she will help you acheive them.

5 Session Boot Camp: $60

Location: At the end of Bluff Park in Long Beach on Ocean Blvd. and 36th Place.

Dates: Saturday June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th & July 2nd

ATTN: MEN!!!!!!!!!! It is time for a NOSE JOB!!!!

DO you have hairs growing out of your nose??????????????? Get up, go to the mirror and LOOK! If you do........... they need to go. Don't let them set up camp and have a party!!! It is not fair to everyone who has to look at those hairs from below :)

The LML Solution............. Wax those nose wiskers! It take like 5 Min! So Come in and get some manscaping done:) You could look like this :) It is all the rage... and you can get a funny pic out of it :) I have done quite of few in the last few days but these were the only champs that would let me snap a pic :)

The Spin Pin

I, like most of my readers, have seen the spin pin commercial. Is this too good to be true? You can used just 2 spin pins in place of 20 bobby pins? I looked for them everywhere when I saw the ad on TV!! With no avail. Months passed and I forgot about my mission!!! I was in CVS a couple months back and........ There they were.... I put them in my basket and went about my shopping. They range anywhere from $6.49 to $9.78. This is not a money saver. 20 bobby pins are only a couple bucks, if that. If these things work they are more of a time saver.

They are in the aisle by the hair clips, rubber bands, etc.

I got home and tried them real quick. I was NOT impressed. I let them sit on my bathroom counter for at least 3 months without touching them. Today I realized I had never given them a second try. I put my hair in a pony, spun them in and went to work. The bun held amazingly without having bobby pins sticking into my head.

I wanted to take a before and after picture of my hair. I attempted to take them out. They screwed out just a easy as they screwed in. I was impressed at how quick they came out for how secure they felt while in my bun.

I wanted a messy look for the low key day I am having today. I thought the rubber band in my hair might have helped out my spin pins. So, I tried it without a rubber band just made a bun from my hair all the way down. It worked exactly the same. For those of you that are interested in this product who have thick, long and heavy hair you might want screw the spin pins into a ponytail like I did in the Pictures. Hope these Goody Spin Pins can cut out some of your getting ready time!!!!! I give this product 2 thumbs up. It definitely did what it advertised.

The Gold, The Brown & The Ugly

The first time I laid eyes on the "blonde tip" look I was intrigued..... Shenae Grimes, who is not the best actress in town but definitely has great hair, is the first person I had seen with this look. It looked as if she had not dyed her roots in a couple years :) But then I noticed it had become a fad. A "Dark Root" fad. I liked the idea of the "blonde tips" being a few shades lighter than the top portion on the hair. I think some people thought that the idea was to dye the roots Black....

I was watching Dancing with the stars last week and noticed the horrible hair Lacey Schwimmer had going on. It was way to drastic. I can see where she was going with the idea but I just didn't think that it ended up doing what she wanted it to do. When she was dancing I noticed that it looked like she had a brown toupee hair piece on the back of her head or some bad two toned mullet. She always looks so awesome and I have loved her blonde and brunette... I just did NOT like her blonde and brunette at the same time!

It almost makes her hair look greasy. I think if the roots were a shade or two lighter or the blonde was not as bright on the ends she could absolutely pull this look off! She does push the envelope with different looks but I think this style really takes away from how beautiful she is and what cute style she can have.

During my search of "The Ugly" roots I found some other stars who have fallen victim to this fad gone wrong.

Ashely Simpson and Drew Barrymore. There is fine line between trendy and tacky... Don't take away from your beauty. Enhance it!

This photo bellow looks like it is a gag gift wig for the White Trash nation... But this is how Lacey kinda looked to me on DWTS...........

There are some ladies who knew exactly how to pull it off and they are................Whitney Port.. This girl knows how to make anything look good. She never goes too far into the unknown. She makes trendy things work! Look at how effortlessly the brown blends into the lighter ends. She looks beautiful.

And Giuliana Rancic......... They have done the right thing by making this look appear natural! I LOVE IT! So if anyone wants to have the "Blonde Tip" look remember we don't want it to look like the "Black roots" look!!!!!!! I think that if you can pull this off and make it look like these two ladies you will have yourself a top notch look... if you error on the side of the Lacey's, Ashley's and Drew's you might have a problem :) Let me know if anyone is adventuresome enough to try it... :) I would love to see some more people go this way.
